Transcending classic design elements with eye-catching appeal, the American Custom Stratocaster draws the most discerning players as the embodiment of elegance and perfectly alluring playability. An NOS lacquer finish lets the two-piece select ash body breath and resonate with each note. The one-piece 2A roasted birdseye maple neck has a 10/56 “V” profile, 9.5” radius and 22 narrow tall (6105) frets for exceptionally comfortable play in all registers.
Custom Shop hand-wound fat ’60's pickups (with reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup) are connected to a five-way switch and Fat ’50s wiring for strong tone with transparent bloom on each note. Other features include a single-ply gold anodized aluminum pickguard, Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, Sperzel die-cast tuning machines with white pearloid buttons, bone nut and American Standard string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
A Fender Custom Shop instrument is extraordinary. You know it when you play one; it’s definitely more than the sum of its parts. It’s filled with intangible, electrifying elements that add a new dimension to your playing experience. It’s as if the instrument itself is imbued with history, alive with the spirit of the place where it was built and the devotion of those who crafted it.
